Today, with enormous thanks to UT PhD student Corey Ostrove, we&#8217;ve gotten the notes into a much better shape (for starters, they&#8217;re now in LaTeX).  You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottaaronson.com\/qclec.pdf\">see the results here<\/a> (7MB)&#8212;it&#8217;s basically a 260-page introductory quantum computing textbook in beta form, covering similar material as many other introductory quantum computing textbooks, but in my style for those who like that.  It&#8217;s missing exercises, as well as material on quantum supremacy experiments, recent progress in hardware, etc., but that will be added in the next version if there&#8217;s enough interest.  Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Unrelated Announcement:<\/span><\/strong> Bjorn Poonen at MIT pointed me to <a href=\"https:\/\/researchseminars.org\/\">researchseminars.org<\/a>, a great resource for finding out about technical talks that are being held online in the era of covid.  The developers recently added CS as a category, but so far there are very few CS talks listed.
